I had grandiose plans of putting some racing go cart axles and shoes under this thing but it has sat, first in MO, now in TN for a total of about 8 years.  The engine was replaced with a 10hp something but that engine was low on compression and has since had parts robbed off of it.  I did get the opportunity to get stuck a lot while mowing my lawn with it.  What a horrible little tractor for mowing but it was fun to ride. I really only hung on to it for the seat.

This could have at least been a contender for the ugly tractor award,  no?

I can see it now! Painted up, real rubber tires,(maybe on chrome rims or hubcaps.) and cruising around the tractor or car show grounds. Like a low rider.. LOW AND SLOW! awesome!

I can't believe that I've never seen one of those.  What a unique design.  I do understand why it didn't catch on though.  It would be a flat land mower: I think a molehill would hang it up.

How old would that be?

These little tractors dont have a huge value, but they are still collectable and worth saving. These were made by the Rugg MFG. I have one very similar but branded Cavalier. I dont have a deck for it but plan to use it for putting around the shows.

Find another running motor for it, and enjoy it. To unique not too.

I might dig it out some day and pimp it out a lil but I can't see every bothering to make it mow again. It was one speed fwd and reverse, maybe a pulley ratio size change to speed it up just a lil and some normal tires to keep it from diving into gopher holes.
