No pic yet. Has new rear tires. Supposedly runs. I have not messed with Craftsman tractors. Are they fairly decent?

As usuaI I can get this real CHEAP.

Thanks for the input.

Depends on the age and type. Most are just lawn tractors and cheaply made. In the 60s and 70s they did have some good ones but I have not been impressed with anything from them in 20 years. BTW a "lockedup" transaxle is often just that the parking brake is rusted stuck. Good Luck, Rick

the GT 18 with the ONAN seems to be a pretty well built unit.  It's very similar in build to the 18/6 tractors and one of the last of the of the Collectable GT's from Sears.

The GT series overall has a pretty decent following, I'm just not partial to the Briggs they had in some of them.

Oh, and Cheap=Good... Pics when you can

I had a GT18, it seemed to be fairly decent.  It sold fast in my area: plenty of calls, so I'm assuming the resale value isn't bad in my neck of the woods.

I like cheap, and at the right cheap you can't go too far wrong!
