Local CL had a listing this morning for a running Gravley two wheel tractor, with rotary plow, mower, and tiller...for two hundred bucks. Noticed too late. Elderly Gentleman was surprised that his old tractor sold within the first hour after he posted it. Currently beating my head on my desk.

Ouch.  I know the feeling: "Twould have been better not seen at all!"

About the same thing happened to me this past Sat., there was a real nice JD 318 for $800., Thought about it for little while and went back to CL and couldn't find it-gone. Then a couple of days later I found one of our member was scalping in my neck of the woods and got it for 5 or $600.

I missed a 400 series JD last week. They said it ran but the needed an oil pump?? Anyway I just wanted some parts off of it since they only wanted $300 for it. I called and said I would put a deposit down on it if they could hold it till I got off work... he said a guy was already on his way to get it. Sold in about a day.
