Winter is always the toughest time for me,  I have been fortunate this year in that we have had some good days in between the cold dark days so that has allowed me to get out and get busy with things.  Building the shop helped also, it kept my mind focused. Just hang in there and when you feel down go work on something.

I always get depressed in the winter when my forum buddy takes off for the winter, then feel better when spring arrives and he comes back. Now I can't remember who it is, though. Seems the memory loss is kicking the depressions' butt today.

Does not remembering that you were depressed help?

Right up until the moment you reminded me, it did.

Do I really have to tell you? :D

I suffer from a mild form of it during the winter months too. I dont like cold weather and being cooped up in the house. I just remember that "this too shall pass" and make it through.

LD, lean all you want, we are right here.

I'm with Ken tho...if I log on and there is a whole bunch of guys, sitting around, contemplating their navels and singing Kumbaya... All bets are off.

BTW, My wife has has depression issues since my middle child was born. It took a while for us to get where we admitted a little help was needed... I was running under the assumption that it was just because she was still married to me.
