I'm thinking of buying this disc, its 33" wide and the discs aren't at a very aggressive angle. Should I worry about killing my quad? (Burning off the belt, ENGINE OVERHEATING, etc)
How heavy does this disc pull compared to a harrow? (How big of spike tooth harrow pulls about the same as the disc?)
Or do you loose traction before you'd ever wreck something mechanical?

Sounds like a good excuse for a tractor.  :smilewink:

I don't think your four wheeler would have too much trouble, if its a farm worthy ATV.  People do it all the time.

What model do you have?

I'd love to find a small tractor suited to that at an auction, haven't seen any though

I have a 2001 Yamaha kodiak 400 special edition, 4wd
And a 2009 Yamaha kodiak 450, 4wd

When I found these discs that was one thing i liked about them is that they shouldn't be as hard to pull

I would think your Yamaha's would pull that. Most of those implements have a Hp Reccomedation listed somewhere.

I know the Kuhns site Rates around 350 CC +.

I have a cousin that pulls a disc similar to that with a 400 polaris  at deer camp with no problems at all for about 7 years now.
