Grumpy, congrats on the latest find. You sure make a lot of road trips to get tractors. Doesn't mama notice your absence and the increase space needed for your collection after you return.

Wife caught me looking at a Power King on Craig's List yesterday. I got "the look".

Mama Went With today to get tractor. Mentioned about the "last one was Last trip!". She had fun I know. Here's some pix of load just home, will unload tomorrow.

Just found out this is a sliding engine model, didn't think it was cause at first it didn't move when pushing pedal to lock spot. Now is moving some. Seems there is a spring in front of whole thing on the pivot bolt that might be an assist to get it out of gear. Seems short or in need of adjust or something.  Tried to find model numbers on the housing of B and S engine, but don't see them. Compared to others like it I have, don't seem to be in same place. Wanna try to find a starter for it. I do have starter off a 10hp that looks close to what it needs, but not sure on flywheel size and such for 16hp use?  I did try a few pulls with rope and didn't get a fire and was pooped out over that.  Will explore more later. Found a four digit tag on frame that says 1451 nothing else, cept Speedex.  Guessing to be serial, but why so close to model number??  Wanting to find the year, not sure where to look for those numbers.

Numbers are supposed to be stamped on the frame below the engine. Still haven't found them on my S24.
