Ya know Marty what we should do when putting things into "safe spots"? ....... we need to have a small ledger book alphabetically paged.  Then when we put something away, write it down, where we placed it for "safe" keeping.  I know I sure need to start doing that!  Like under "M", place all stored Massey parts locations...etc.

I was looking under my basement steps storage closet for something and picked up an old large coffee can. Opened it up and what do ya know.....all those lugnuts, motor tin bolts, brackets, clips I separated for safe keeping. Why in the world did I ever put them there, I will never know, but at least I finally found them after tearing apart garage and barn

Marty, I'm still trying to find my safe places where I put some special parts. :wallbanging:

:bigrofl:  :bigrofl:

I kind of knew I put them in one of the coffee containers, we get the big plastic ones at work so I bring them home for storage, but why in the world I put it in the house under the stairs I won't figure out. I think cause I store my spray paint there to hide from my son and then just put the jug with the paint for the tractor. I dunno, but I found them :rocker2:  :dancingbanana:

Now if I can find some time to get dash skim coated with some bondo, sand and paint, I can get it on and then work on wiring and maybe fire it up....probably not till next year :wallbanging:

When I tear down a gt I have a tub I through every nut bolt and small part in. I don't reuse nuts and bolts but I still keep everything until I'm done. Little bitty parts get bagged and then put into the tub. Glad you found them.
