:welcometogttalk:  the value of anything is very different from one area to another. There are too many variables to just say this 1965 GT is worth $200...Someone may buy it for $50 and the next guy pay $350 because he really wants or needs it for a collection.

Both 782 and 982 in good running condition can bring a nice price . They're both a very desireable cub to own .

Both models were made in 1980 or 1981 . Both models have hydro lift . The last 6 digits of the serial number will give you the month and year they were made .

Since you only gave 5 digit there is no way for sure to know when the 782 was made .

Some things like if the 782 has a KT17 series I or series II engine can change the value a little .

If the 982 has rear Cat 0 , rear PTO , or the haban 60" mowing deck they can add to the worth .

We need more info to determine there worth .

It really is hard to say without knowing the condition. They are great machines though so enjoy. On top of the 3pt and pto options, the 982 could have power steering and cutting brakes. On the 782 you will want the KT-17 Series 2 for work on hilly ground or resale value.
