i picked this mf10 up at the scrap yard. im a wheel horse guy but i was unloading some steel out of my truck when i saw the front end loader go buy heading for the compactor dumpster with this in its bucket. So i ran and flaged him down. long story short i picked it up for what i had in my truck prob 45.00 worth of steel. i know nothing of masseys but i thought they looked cool. 8170698173_caca33b268.jpg

i got it running today. it will need a little carb work but man they built these things soild. i dont know why people scrap things like this its a great machine that just needed a little TLC. i might build a cherry picker for the front so i can use it to move things around but no worries i dont change anything that cant be returned back to stock. thanks for looking

It doesn't take much to make some people give up on a piece of equipment. They just don't have the knowledge or temperament to deal with mechanical problems.

Yours was a nice find.

You got a good deal.People don't know how to work on these anymore. They don't want to waste time or money on old stuff. They want new. Some people  just get tired of seeing it sit around and just take it to the scrap yard.

You got a great deal on a great tractor. They are very pretty machines. I would put the picker on the back because it can handle more weight.  Good Luck, Rick

Very nice save.  I was thinking you might find the spark module bad, that would be enough to prompt most people to throw it away.   Very good catch, thank you for saving it.
