Bought a 6 HP China built Honda clone from harbor freight for $99 free shipping. Bolted to the simplicity fine. Just enough room to not hit the transaxle. Here's a video of me plowing snow with it.

I've re-powered quite a few pieces of equipment with those engine's.  I haven't had one come back yet.

Funny...I have cheap Princess Auto Briggs and Stratton on mine, and it works well too. The only thing is that you have to run it at low revs with the sickle bar mower or it shakes itself apart.

Just about any of these small sickles have to be run at limited throttle
