Went to the lumberyard yesterday to pick up 2 sheets of drywall.. Purchased them inside and told me to drive around back to pick them up... I got to the security guard at the gate showed him the slip,, he asked if I knew where the drywall was,,I said yes...

Picked up the drywall, put it in my pick-up and drove to the guard shack. opened the window,,. Handed him the slip for the 2,, 4X8 sheets of drywall. He stood there looking at me and asked--Where is it--??? :hitting_self_roller: I was dumb-founded as he stood there looking at me..

Hmm that reminds me of the time I was visiting friends in Dubuque. That whole family worked for the railroad.
I wish you could have seen the look on Toms face when his son-in-law pulled up in front of the house with 2 30 ft rails chained to the front and rear bumpers of his ford convertible.

That's why I like our small town lumber yard! The guy who writes out your ticket loads the goods, often the owner. And, except for new employees, I know them (& they know me) personally! ~~ Lowell

That's why he's a security guard. No offense to any here, but it's not a real challenging position.

The world needs security guards, just like it needs ditch diggers too. As judge Smails once said.
