The Onan blue pattern shroud is off my natural gas gen set. It does not have the provision for the oil filter. neither my big Simplicity or the Allis had that shroud. ...........Yeah could of bought one,but what fun is that!

All kidding aside :D

 

That is great! Making things like that are so... much more fun than just buying replacements.

 

I was just talking about metal working with my Nieces BF today, and I was telling him how great a feeling it is when you make things on your own, or straighten something that was mangled that most people would think could never be straightened out.

That turned out great. Thanks for posting the step by step process of building it. That will come in handy for anyone else needing to do something similar.
