Well after completeing the Sears project, I had so many other things going on and the Sears got left to a "when I get time" type deal.  I attempted to start it a couple days ago.....no luck.  First it was a battery issue......solved.  Then a wire started melting and I finally figured out the new ignition was causeing this.  Took it out and re-installed old one....solved.  Now, when I attempt to turn it over i get the dreaded "clunk" and the starter starts smoking!!!!  Well the part number was easy to read at least "Tecumseh 32817" and the cheapest I found on ebay and amazon is $57 but I get free shipping.  If another problem arises, I have more guns than tools and I'm puttin the ol Sears to sleep.  Ok I'm done with my rant now thanks for listening.........lol

Welcome to our world. We always figured that if you use it, you'll have to fix it---- sometimes even if you don't use it you have to fix it ! There ain't no justice in this world, just fixin'.
