Gentelmen, last year i bought a really clean bolens gt 2000 hydro with deck and blower, showroom condition, i dont really collect them but the condition and price were right $700, did they make a 3pt hitch for these? are they available or are they near impossible to find, or if someone has one could you send me a pic please so i have an idea what to fab, i have a lot of horses and 6 deeres but after a closer look at the bolens its a well built well designed machine and something my wife could handle easily,i really like the shaft drives.however i find the seating station small for a tractor of that size i am 6'-2" 275lbs, even with the seat all the way back

If you have to fab, let me know. I may be able to get some measurements.

Those pics are from the previous generation Bolens, not a GT-2000, although the 3pt might be the same or very similar???

I have the Troy-bilt 18hp version of that tractor so I obviously follow threads about them and I believe I have only ever seen one or two 3pt setups for them.  I would consider them to be pretty rare.  If I remember correctly, an NOS did show up on Ebay within the last couple of years and brought $350-$400.  Way too steep for my tastes. :smilewink:

....however i find the seating station small for a tractor of that size i am 6'-2" 275lbs, even with the seat all the way back

I'll second that.  Big tractor but tight seating.  I'm only 5'9" and I'm a bit cramped.  I bang my knees every now and then when hitting bumps.

Here's more info from Mike:

Those pics are from a Bolens 5020 Eliminator , his tractor is a model 5120 Duratrac, but they are the same hook up. The Eliminator was a short lived series between the QS and QT series (models 1669-01/04) and the Duratracs, the main difference was the QS and QT models and older had hookups on the axles for the lower 3 point arms and the newer series 5020 and later did not.

Hope this help clear up things. I'm just the go between!
