well heres a few pics of the fenders there not bolted up yet there resting on jack stands and blocks of wood. more pics will follow over the next week as i get the mounts set in place and bolted down. stay tuned to see what happens next.......

That width looks good. You could take it to a fab shop and have them roll a bead around the edge to help stiffen it up.

Ahh man , sorry I didn't get back to you with those bracket measurements Greg , but I was called out of town the last few days and I just got back in .

 

Just a thought , but heres a set of fenders I made for an Original cub a few years back that was originally a chromed rear spare tire cover off a suv .

A friend owns a salvage yard and it didn't cost me a dime .

I took them back off the cub because it was a little to much bling ....

They look very similar to yours .

thanks i figured out to mount the fenders as well. thanks for all the comlements guys. we have a bead roller in class but i was crunched for time so over break ill be able to get the mounts how i want them then take them back to class to finish them up

thanks Kenny i thought it would be harder to make them then it was i love the way they look. i have to finish them yet but this week is spring break so when i go back next week i do a couple more things then theyll be done

A suggestion! Those wheels look pretty good on there to me. Space your fenders out a bit and look at it! Makes it look like it's ready for anything! Get the fenders out close to the edge of the tires!
