I just recieved the 22022 muffler I ordred from NAPA and it seems a bit smaller,but I think it will work. will need to make a bracket to fit. May be a couple of says before I get it installed,will post pictures when finished.

that is what I said I just held it up to it, but will have to remove the hood and old muffler to be sure. I plan to have ut done by the end of the week.I am not real good at looking at specs. I have to try to make it fit,

That's the muffler I have on the 108 Cub, 10 HP Kohler. Like to find a couple with a shorter body for my twin cyl. engines.

Be interesting to know for sure, then we would know that there are aftermarket replacments for the factory mufflers for these tractors, that don't cost an arm and a leg from the dealer.

I don't know how quiet they are, they say there quieter than the pepper top muffler but ???

 I had one on my 125 when I first got it, they are WAY quieter than the cans , but not even close to the factory version . Still .... 2 of them on a twin (with a cross over balance tube) who doggy !!! that rig would pur like a kitty !!

I have some similar to those little ones on the FF. It's very quiet compared to the GTV.

the 22022 muffler is not fot the open side LGT 165 it does not fit.

How different is it compared to the factory muffler?

here are some pictures to show the difference. It is on my tractor,but I am not happy with it and when I find the right one will probably will change it.The biggest difference is the inlet pipe angle. First picture is the old muffler on the engine. second picture the 2 mufflers on the ground, third picture after a couple trips to the muffler shop and napa it is on there.
