I have a video that is about 20 minutes long, and I don't need the entire thing. If somebody has a software that can trim it for me, that would be great! If somebody could do this, I will email you the video.

I can do it, Ryan, but how many megabytes is the video?  We're on limited internet stipend since we live in the country and can't get unlimited DSL.

Ryan, glad you have willing participants. If you have the need for another, count me in too.

You might look into some of the freeware out there. A lot of it is quite good.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone have a suggestion?

The video is to large to send any way I have tried. The way I see it I have two choices, take another short video, or get a download and trim it myself.

It is to large for YouTube, and photobucket crashes when I try uploading there.

I use Windows Movie Maker most of the time.  It does what I need it to do.  I've done a few how to videos for my website, I just haven't uploaded them yet.

Ryan,

Windows movie maker is pretty easy to use. If you want to try that to see about cutting it down. If you still don't get it do you know how to use ftp?

The other way to share it is if it isn't over 5gb in file size you can sign up for a box.com account and upload it to there and then send a link to it to someone.

I have never heard of ftp. I don't go in depth with computers very far, so since you had to ask... I am going to say no.

Ryan,

Sign up for a box.com account. Once you have it setup you can upload it to there and then share it out.
