Johnson Iron Horse Valves

I have this little johnson iron horse engine that needs the valves done, but i cant for the life of me figure out how to get to them. has anybody done one of these before. Thanks.

I've worked on some really strange engines over the past 50 years. Take your time. Search the web as your first step. Slowly try to take the engine apart. Take your time and figure out how the engine is set up. They are all logical and you will be able to work it out. Just don't force anything. Good Luck, Rick

I've never done one, but have you seen this page?  http://www.asecc.com/data/iron/


There's also a forum for antique small engines on that website.  There is about zero activity, but they are very helpful.


BTW, :wewantpics:  I'd like to fix the fact that I've never seen one!!
