I would doubt any, from what little I have seen of serial numbers, it looks like the number system starts an undeterminded method of counting.

The first economy made is accounted for! Although, the serial number started at 101. If you go to the PK section (I'm on my phone, so I can't post the link) there is a thread going on now about it!

I would guess that most # 1's were "tested", used and abused then destroyed and never let out to the public.

To be honest,I think only 4 of the 22 Economy's built the first year have been accounted for and I don't think they came up with a tag  one any of them but they are identified by features.

I was told the " development "  E-T 's  merely had property tags . Finding one of those would be a hoot  .  As for the first mass produced  E-T it was intended for display  and demonstration . The E-T 's had been well tested  before production approval had been granted  .

Serial number AN26001  was created for the first one to pass QC testing .

My Bush Hog D4-12 is Serial # 101. Some say it's the first of that model, but it's not proven on paper yet.

The E-T serial numbers were rolled over every 1000  units . The last 3 digits gave a clue to total count - the actual production count was a tight secret until recently  .     I own an E20 serial FP 01 000 .  Released  on June 1 1971 .   The 1000 th built of E20's .

The Cub Cadet started at 501, the first 25 were test models and a few of those are still around. I know where SN 777 is.

I have a pretty early Bolens G11. It's SN is 229, but since Bolens started with 101, it's 129th off of the line.

I've looked all over my HDT1000 and can't find a serial number anywhere.  In the spot where it most likely should have

been there isn't even any indication that anything was there.

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe it, and the other one that I know of here in the States weren't "test/evaluation' tractors.

Saw this one on eBay:

IF he got the SN right, this would have been the 3rd one off the line!
