Ever thought about using 2 bearings with the pulley in between?
I did Kenny, but figured a second bearing wasn't necessary, because once the armature was seated/secured
on the end of the tapered shaft, it would become one.
The trick was assembly, because I couldn't tighten the two shafts together, due to the assembly procedure
required to get everything aligned. I hope that makes sense.
Somehow missed this thread Will. Where are you with this project now?
I forgot to update this thread.
It's done, tested good, and sitting on the shelf in Massey Hall, awaiting it's call to duty.
Also in the picture is the compressor on the MF10.
