Well, didn't get any insulation in today, but I am ready for starting tomorrow. Just got tired & decided not to try & kill myself at it this evening, plus daylight runs out an hour earlier anyway. After measuring more I need a little more insulation to complete this side, so making a run to Lowes tonight to get more, and some other needed supplies. I did get all the mess cut up & fitted in the dumpster & it is FULL! Not bad for a partial day's work...I'm satisfied. I dread the insulation tomorrow.....itches me to death. Hair spray on the skin helps prevent it working in the skin as bad though. so having my wife spray my arms & neck before I start.

With the cows working on the grass you may have more time for the house.
OH OH cow doing grass = more milk = more time in the parlor = less time on the house????????
This is a no win Dan.

Met my goal yesterday to get all the insulation (up to the point I tore old off) in the wall. Today I met my goal again to get the plastic sheeting on & the foam panels on also. Tomorrow starts some vinyl....maybe. I need to do some work on a fence, so it depends on how that goes. It's all ready for any rainy weather as it is, so all is good either way.

We had windy weather the days I was tearing stuff off. No way to deal with the plastic or the foam sheets in anything more than a breeze. Worked out well. I have my siding all laid out, ready for tomorrow. I only have enough siding to reach the top of the lower windows, so one more trip to the exterior supply.

It has been a little while since I checked your thread Daniel. You are making great progress and like Larry said you should notice a nice difference in heating costs.

Quick post before I leave for dairy meeting. I didn't get as far as I would have liked today with the siding, but not bad either.
