Went down yesterday to the show, started raining as I got there. Decided not to take the tractors off the trailer since I was only going o stay the day, and the weather did not look good. Sure hate to see people's hard work to set up a show not do well due to the weather. I hung out till about 1:00 and then headed home. I tried to do some recruiting for GT Talk and also for Lawn and Garden Tractor magazine. Met some nice people so the trip was worth while. Did not take any pictures to speak of since most of everyone's things were covered.

Thanks for sharing Scott. Sorry to hear that the weather didn't cooperate but this is a hobby that is done outdoors so we are always at the mercy of Mother Nature. I'm sure that you still had a good time meeting new people.

Those "Bush Hogs" are really starting to grow on me. May have to try and find one. Sorry about the weather Scott. I think Mother Nature is going through the change of life this year.

I agree about the weather and mother nature! She is killing the nursery business right now.  Just looking at setting up this event and the effort for the food, entertainment, etc....then have it rain for both days....the people that put on these shows, many times give money to some worthy cause (I am sure some are for profit).....you want them to do well so they can donate/support the cause or charity.

I knew it was going to rain when I went down.....I had already decided it would be worth while, if not for the experience and checking out the lay of the land for next year.....it is not too far of a drive and if the weather is good, I suspect it would be a good local show to attend.

I met a guy in town going home, he said in its hay day it was a huge event......change of venue and bad weather had taken its toll on it the past 3 or so years. If I am not busy next year, I will definitely go back. Too close not to.

75 miles south- south west- of Kinston about 35 miles east -south east of Fayetteville.  Right below Roseboro and Clinton. The town is acutually Ammon, NC. Just off 242 at the crossroads.

Thanks for the pictures.

The North East Iowa plow days event is coming up in a couple of weeks (it's only 40 miles from me), It looks like we might be plowing snow!!
