Frozen to the ground - one problem we don't have down here. Stuck in the mud yes - but not frozen in place.

With the nutty weather swings, one day you may experience it.  Frozen in ice is bad enough....frozen solid in mud is worse!

While I'm not Jake knowledgeable, I've never seen a slot hitch on one either.

It sure is a good thing spring's coming so the wife's car can sit outside being you have to put the Jake in the garage :D   Congrats on the Jake!       So wihch one of the kids claimed this one?

Van didn't spend much time in the garage this winter anyway.  Kids haven't seen it yet.  I plan to hide it from them as long as possible!  It's orange so I imagine Kohen will want to claim it the most.  He want to ride on an orange tractor real bad.  I'm afraid he'll need to wait a bit.

Haven't had a chance to dive into the manuals section yet but I sure will.  Thank you.  I checked it over quick after I dragged it out of the van and looked for a serial/model tag.  I couldn't find anything in the couple minutes before it got dark.  Where should I be looking?  Were these a sticker or of the rivoted on type where I should be looking for a couple of holes where it used to be?

I think those were the same as my 65. If so it was a metal tag at the bottom of the dash tower. If so you'll see the holes from the rivets, unless they covered them.

Found it just now with the flashlight.  Couldn't wait for the sun tomorrow (probably won't be home during daylight anyway).  Turns out to be a Model 100A  Serial 37xx

So what's the difference between the 100a and 100b?

So what's the difference between the 100a and 100b?

Looking through the parts list, it was just small things. The 100A was serial # 10136-1601 to 3355. Serial 10136-3356 started the B.

The Jacobsen 100A is the deluxe model, (electric start) That was including SG,Amp gage, wiring and Battery, it also came with foot rests instead of just the pegs. The deluxe only cost $75 more than a standard model.

100B standard model, (pull start)

It was the same for the 100C (deluxe) and 100D (standard)
