For a very short time, Yamaha ventured into this area of power equipment. While I have not personally owned one, those you have reported that these were very well-made and highly durable machines. Since they were made in such few numbers, they will eventually become a very desirable collector machine. The one in your photo would certainly make a perfect addition to a collection because you wouldn't have to do very much to it in order to show it.

I seem to remember seeing one like that on Craigs list. Can't be sure though, as it was not that nice.

That is a nice looking condition tractor.

I have never seen one before but that one does look to be in pretty good shape. I wonder if it was there own design or assembled from other manufactures parts?

Japanese pride would never, ever allow them to produce anything that wasn't 100 percent engineered and manufactured by them alone. I've had twenty-eight years of exposure to Japanese motocross/enduro bikes made by Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki plus all kinds of outdoor power products. These companies don't need anything from anyone. They can release a new design for a motocross bike one year and then come up with a totally new design the very next year with almost no interchanging parts between the two successive years. That's how fast these companies can design, build prototypes, conduct R&D and then tool up for production. And rarely is there ever recall due to a part failing.
