Disk cost a fortune around here . After a long search I couldn't find any. I visit cl often and saw these locally. The seeking didn't budge much but I bought them. The horse drawn set is rough but I'm going to try to build a sleeve hitch set out of them. The other set is a 6' set for the cub. In going to have to shorten them. If I determine they will be to heavy I may just covet them to 3ph and resell them.

If it was me I'd restore the horse drawn one as is. I've used that type behind tractors that didn't have hydraulics.

The bigger disc to me looks like a mounted disc for an Allis Chalmers. It has the snap style front hitch.

What does the connectors look like that are connected to the two chain in the front????

I would think if you restored the Allis disc and found an Allis collector you would have enough money to buy a new disc.

If you were close I had known you were looking, I have a good size set I could've sold ya. They looks to be for like a CUT or small field tractor. I will probably end up cutting them up and scrapping.

I dont know if the horse drawn is even salvageable. I would say your right Tim about it being allis.

Scrap nothing Tahoe some one would want it.

If you do decide to cut them up, I would possibly be interested in a few of the “blades” for a project currently under construction.

The beautiful thing with living on a family farm is there is always some one to help and equipment to borrow. My brother and I loaded up the bob cat on his trailer. We got stuck going up the guys driveway. We unloaded the bob cat and parked the truck on the road. We eventually got out all loaded.

If there is a will, there is a way!  Nice saves, its amazing what people leave to rot in the fields.

Yea, my dad got this big set of disc for his field, ended up being to big for his HB212, I looked at it yesterday, I think it's got 7 or eight discs per sides.

it looked almost sunk into the ground up to middle "axle" and frame is busted.

Here are the chain ends on the allis disk. The horse drawn in rusted. I'm not sure how I'll get them apart.
