The other week Joe (joes outdoor power) had a WH D180 come in with a FEL on it. I waited and waited until he put it up on ebay. It finally showed up and I started watching. I just knew it was going to go for $800+ which would be out of my budget. (Honestly $100 was out of my budget) So I just stared at it for a few days and forgot about it.

Money hasnt been tight but just no large amounts to play with. Still had DR bills from last year and a few others so I knew better than to bring up the possibilty of buying the FEL. After all it was going to go for a good amount.

Then one night I was checking ebay and saw that the FEL had sold for less than $700. I saw aloud "holy crap what a great deal somebody got" and hunny bunny hears me. She asks "whats up" and I tell her. She listens with that look they all have when you talk about money that you want to spend ona tractor. Then she ask me if I can build one for that price. Nope, it will cost more, I tell her.

THEN SHE SAYS "YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THAT ONE SINCE IT WOULD COST LESS AND YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY WITH BUILDING ONE"

That sounds about right! And if you had asked before to buy it, all heck would have broke out!

You can never depend on what they will say or do.  I've had moments like that with my wife.  :loosing_it:

The worse part was you didn't have another front end loader to buy right then when you had her confessing!

Well what you know, a Cub Cadet with FEL just showed up on Ebay. Its only about 2 hours away. She back pedaled a little when I brought it up. But she has given me the budget to work with.

She is not allowed to back-peddle yet, there is a 48 hour ruling on a verbal release of funding.
