What are the 2 stage snow blower drive chains? #30? #35? #20?

I need to go to Princess Auto and buy some chains and some repair links, had one of the links snap on me tonight while blowing some deep snow. Also I want to replace all 3 chains while I am at it.

Thanks, Tom

You could take the old chain with you to see the correct size. The size number is related to the pitch of the chain.

Hers a link to the sizing info. http://www.gizmology.net/sprockets.htm

Thanks for that post JD, had the same problem on a Bolens snowblower a few years ago, local hardware store had nothing that matched it for repair links ....

I looked at New Holland on a 09JC9806 blower and saw a #40 chain on there. Not sure what blower you have.

Yes, I do.

I made 2 out of the 3 chains, the 3rd one needed a conversion link to finish it off. I will get the link here soon.

Other than that works like a charm again.
