I'm thinkin, he's just fishin like anyone of us might do if looking for additions. Could be looking to make profits off guys like us or worse a scrapper. I have noticed locally an uptick in the amount of postings looking for lawn/garden stuff...Not sure how this might effect market for easy deals and finds..??

The market is definitely growing. People are starting to realize that almost any of the earlier machines, when restored, are far better than the junk that is peddled by the manufactures today. The new stuff might be quiet, smooth and pretty, but it does NOT last. I see it every day, Nothing but plastic poop. JMO

I've already noticed an increase in prices. Years ago when I started I was picking up these tractors on the cheap. Between higher scrap prices and what people think they have it takes 500 bucks to buy a been sitting behind the barn for 30 years tractor.
