I dont know why the headlights are side mounted , but I think it looks better that way.

jd, some people mounted their lights like this, as they didn't want to drill holes in the fiberglass hood. The lights that this guy has mounted on the tractor, aren't the original headlights. They should be like you have on yours. You'll take notice too, that there isn't a fender mounted tail light either. Tractor is priced too high in my opinion. I can't see him getting much more than $1,200.00 for it.

Mounting the headlights on the hood braces are more stronger than mounting to the fiberglass hood. Even though a lot of guys have the headlights mounted like this, and may look better, they aren't high enough to show over front mounted attachments like the blade or snowthrower. These are the cheap, after market lights, and there are a lot of these out there, trying to be passed as original headlights.

Thanks , good answer! I never thought of the lights being blocked by front attachments.

Thanx for the "John Deere Gardentractor Lesson", Troy

110rf.jpg OK, some details are not original, but in Deutschland you have to pay 2000 Euro for such a tractor.

Btw, I've spoken with my local dealer (one of the big ten in germany) and he told me. that you'll get no snowblower for GT in germany. Mannheim says, that there is no market for this attachments here...

The headlights were a dealer option installed by the dealers location was up to the buyer .But Deere did suppley a templet for the hood and taillight location.
