PEX is a dream to work with if you have the tools and fittings.  I ran all of our mains in the crawl space and brought the hat and cold feeds up from the crawl space for the shower and tub in a big curve to prevent having any fittings in the wall. (Moen single handle tub/shower faucets with pex stubs for the hot and cold inlets).  Plumbing inspector was pretty impressed with my method.  We had a 24 inch x 3/4 inch piece of PEX plugged at both ends and full of water setting in the freezer at the office for demonstrating the toughness.  You could take that out and bend it across your knee, breaking the ice but did not hurt the pipe. Good Stuff!

Well here some more pics. Its at about 95% done. Still have window trim and the baseboards to go in. I have been evicted since my wife decided it was time to test the tub. WTH! Oh well, guess I'm done for the night. Oh and sorry guys, no pics of the test run LOL!
