I recently picked up what I know to be BH chrome hubcaps. This was an optionattachicon.gif ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363542965.906801.jpgattachicon.gif ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363542978.343559.jpgattachicon.gif ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363542992.402732.jpg and is listed in the price lists I have. They are not in perfeict shape, but it is cool to have. The V4-8 I picked on the road had a rough set on them as well. They also match the BH hubcaps I have so that confirms to me they are original too. Some one is going to see these and hopefully tell us who else was using/selling this same hubcap back then. Anyone recognize the manufacturer let me know.

Cool find. I don't know who made them but hubcaps were an option for most of the older garden tractors of all brands. Some where made with the brand logos stamped into them and others are just plain similar to the set you have. My guess is that only one or two companies produced these for all of the various garden tractor companies.

Scott,

Not sure who the producer was either, but the hubcaps you are showing are identical to the early hubcaps used on Cab Cadets, John Deeres, Wheel Horse and Allis Chalmers. I used to buy these non stamped hubcaps at our local Wheel Horse dealer about seven years ago, but since he went out of business, I haven't tried to find any since. If memory serves me correctly, I was paying $18.00 for each of the 12" rears, and $12.00 each for the 8" fronts. Good luck to you my friend, and hope you find what you're looking for.

Troy
