Dr. Bolens...The name certainly fits! Thanks for the pics. Soon mine will look that nice too. I swear the previous owner must have used it for a paint tray. Took forever to remove all that paint. Can't wait to share pics with you guys.

You say '62 with a '63 hood. '62 because of throttle location or clutch pivot point? I noticed the one in the pic has the pivot point below the frame and mine is above.

The 1962's were the only models with the control lever located in the center of the steering column. If its got an "old style clutch that rides above the frame(looks like a flat bar)" then it is a dead giveaway its a 1962 Body. who knows, those decals you have on your Hood could very well be original in 1962 also. They did the same with the 800's. They changed decals 2x in their 1964 models...

What kind of clutch petal does it have , the flat bar style or the newer style

Nearing the end of my 600 restoration project.:D Still not proficient at uploading pics. Hope this works! I post more pics when I get the hood and shroud completed.
