I've looked at this tractor before and it runs ROUGH and the gears are very hard to shift.

I've had my eye on it for a while. Is 760 a good price?

I'd look at the oil in the engine and transmission for clues to what is wrong. Water in the trans could make it stiff and be very expensive to fix. If it was running good that would be an average price that I've seen advertised. That transmission worries me. Good Luck, Rick

That looks like a very early one. I don't know about the price. Like Rick said,I would be worried about the transmission. I'm sure Ryan (the PK/Economy/Jim Dandy expert) will be along.

I think it is priced fair. With all the attachments it includes. Yes, if the transmission has major problems, it will be costly and probably difficult to find a replacement. I would not be afraid to rick it though, because you could part the tractor out and possably get your money back if the transmission is holding you back.

It's a 1948. They started in 1946. With all the implements it would be worth the asking price. Economy parts come up an ebay all the time. They are not all that expensive unless you are going for a dual transmission setup.
