Well, being laid up this winter has left me find too many new toys out in the world...this one came home today and seems to like its new playground already. Ben if your reading this, I haven't forgotten you ! The wife and I are trying to pin down the time to come get the "Chief". She couldn't go with me this week to get this one. (Time alone in the truck is some of our special quiet times) We are trying to put a Friday and Sat together to come down your way. New babies on the farm, her job, my classes, kids birthdays, my healing, and Easter are really filling/filled this month. Hows April 12-13 look for you?
12 hours round trip (how come the ones I can afford/want are never close to home?)
Deck had to come off the tractor to get in the truck. (my ditch makes it pretty level on the way out but it was already off, so I'll wait until one of the boys get home to help me get it back on)
This tractors last home was in a good size city ( Louisville, KY ) and it really didn't have enough room to play. This is one of the areas that this tractor will help keep cut, I think it will be much happier being able to stretch out here in the country.
Sun is shining but it is only 18 degrees with the wind chill (I'm feeling it) the tractor being metal I guess isn't affected by wind chill, but hey, its only 36 w/o the wind, pulled the choke, turned the key and there is that steady Kohler sound, no smoke, no knock just nice running tractor, lights, electric clutch, gauges, controls everything works! BOY am I HAPPY with this one!
Found this little chapel on the drive home by a rest stop near Athens, Ohio. Really neat, open to the public.
Easter, time of reflection and hope.
