so im thinking about putting my jonson 10 loader on 1225 but i know the hydos arnt the best and i want some opinions on what you guys think? i know not to over load it and all im gental with my stuff so.. i may be getting a HT23 with a loader im hopeing so that will do all the heavier lifting its restored and it beautiful . the reason i want to put the little J10 on the 1225 is because itshydro and has a hydro system so i can make it power steering fairly easy. i have the blue prints from a friend that has one and he added P.S  and he emaild me the plans and all the list of parts i need to do it.. and im going to try and make it so i can take it on and off without takeing half the tractor apart. om thinkinking a few bolts pop them on with my craftsman 1/2 drive battery impact and haveing quick connect couplers for the hyd hoses goin to the pump unless i can mount the pump to the loader. what do you guts think. need a bit of help and some ideas thanks, sam

What are you talking about "i know the hydos arnt the best" the Eaton hydro is the Best hydro made Ever ! IMO Also i think you can work better with a Tube frame with a loader then a Large frame ... Also i put powersteering on my tractor ... If you do a Trust bearing upgrade on your tractor you will not need powersteering....

well the 1050 the loader is  on now has upgraded heavier wheel bearings. i just thought the the hydos were weak in the 1225's im not 100% but i think there different then the 1256 and all them... i know the (LF) are heavier built so i just want to check around before i put a loader on it, paint the tractor and loader and rebuild the motor

The 1225, 1256, 1257, 1456, 1556, & 1656 tractors all used the Eaton 10 Hydro.
