So, am I to assume the Waterloo walk behind is no relation to the Waterloo 4 wheel tractor? I always thought it was named for Waterloo, Iowa.

No Waterloo Ontario, I had a Waterloo Bronco 4 wheel tractor with a 2 cylinder Wisconsin engine and 3 speed transmission. Kinda hard to use belt pulley as it was in the middle of tractor so the belt ran at 90 degrees to tractor. The Bronco was built for 3 years only 1948 to 1950 cost was about 900 dollars new company was located at 163 Philip Street Waterloo Ontario.  Cheers Mike
