IM going to check it to see if I see any marks if so I will prime again, I also treated the bare metal with a chemical to prevent rust.

Back at home after 2 weeks away, hit the tractor hard today I think I made a lot of progress. 1 Painted Frame and components inside. 2. Painted Motor 3. Redid Dash to fix sanding marks 4. Removed tires and sanded Tired!

Rev received the Foam Tape Thanks a Million IM almost ready for it.

I get tired of the paint sometimes!!!! After I apply  the primer it shows no blemishes once I apply the green then bam some of the areas show through, then I have to go back wet sand it then prime a bunch to hide the blemish.

Also Some times I get a run that looks ugly, I wet sand it down and spray them Bam another run same spot, I finally sanded it off and re primed it twice then I will paint the green again.

Spain,

Looking real good.  I had that same problem with the fender pan on my 120.  You will be happy with end result when you take the additional time and effort to get it right.

I have the 1969 John Deere 110 lawn tractor as well. Love it. I was wondering how to adjust the deck. The front sits a little lower than I want it. When I look at it the only thing I can figure is that there are two "bolts" that hold the front of the deck up. If these are twisted one way or the other would that raise/lower the front end. They are pretty rusted and I really don't want to mess with them. There is a round 6" knob that turns both directions that I have no idea what it does, can anyone help with that one. I would read the manual but I didn't get one from the person I bought it from. Of course I'm sure it has had many owners by now. Any help would be great. Thanks Scooter

Been in San Antonio for 3 weeks watching Boeing repair the 787 aircraft, also my Mom passed away at DFW so haven't had time to work on the JD. I did get the back lift mechanism sanded primed and painted JD green, and I got the center console final JD green paint, and I finshed the gas tank paint and the hood side mount hinges painted. Will start putting it back together as time permits
