Finally an update! Life has been getting in the way! I was able to get some work done today!
I mounted the intake line , filter and fitted a line to the pump.

I notched the hood to fit the pump.

I got the spool valve mounted and a set of levers made for it.

I have to pick up some 2500 psi pressure line and run a return line. I will be building a bucket next, then all I have to do is mount the lift cylinders and paint!
This slowed down a bit because I'm cutting and splitting 6 cords of wood with no splitter! (Note to self......next thing on list to build!)

Now those are some manly sized levers!!!

 

Is that filter plumbed between the reservoir and the pump feed (suction side)? It should be between the valves return port and the reservoir. Like this:
