I got one of these rascals for my diesel fuel.

The funnel is plastic, but the rest is all metal, and none of those pesky 'safety latches of mess with.

Thanks for that link OB, just ordered 3 of them.  Best price I could find on the entire internet for any metal 5 gal. diesel can.  I came in under $100 and they still honored the over $100 free shipping.

AND they do PayPal!  If they're timely on shipping I'll be adding them to my shopping "favorites".

Glad that I could be of some help.

Free shipping on three of those cans is a definite bonus as they aren't small.

I like Rural King much better than TSC.  maybe it's just the size of the two local stores, but RK has a LOT more in their store than TSC.  Seems like I can get better help there as well.  They have more sales people on the floor than TSC does, and it's easier to find someone if you need them.

Buzzard I like a store with less help. It drives me up a wall to trip over employees ever 4 seconds. At the stores I frequent they have all pretty much learned to let me shop and leave me alone. Autozone got a new guy a while back and he followed me around like a puppy dog till I had my fill and told him to go stand behind the counter and wait on people who needed help. The other employees were in the back dying laughing.

I know what you mean by the 'hovering' sales people, but the guys at RK (at least my local one) aren't like that.  They are there, but leave you alone unless you ask for help.

As for AUTOZONE...don't get me started :mad2:  :mad2:  :mad2:  :mad2:  :mad2: .  Just let it suffice, that if I had a one-of-a kind ANYTHING, and Autozone was the only place that had the part(s) to fix it...I'd crush it before doing business with them.

These Rural King fuel cans look like they are the way to go.  RK store locator says my closest store is about 100 miles away.  Looks like a road trip cummin up!

Thanks to OldBuzzard and Canawaler

Bought 'em on the 13th and today they're already in the UPS system for delivery Tuesday "by end of day".  I hope they pack 'em as well as they ship!:D

Hard to believe isn't it, that a pretty girl like that would advertise her can like that.  But, she's proud of it, you can hear it in her voice.:D

I like the little shake she gives the nozzle at the end of each pour.
