A friend of mine called me about a buddy of his, said he had a old Wheel Horse that he thought was junk and wanted rid of it for cheap! I went and looked at it and I thought it was in good condition, except for a few problems. He said it was in rough shape and it was probably a parts machine. It is a 1970 Electro 12 with Hydrostat trans. I asked him how much he wanted for it and he said make him an offer. I watch American Pickers all the time, so I said would $50.00 be enough for you? He replied rather quickly, that it would be plenty! The tractor has a broken front spindle but he has it with the front tire, cam shaft has some teeth ground down or chipped, and the head is missing. Other than those things, all else looks good. The seat is in great shape and worth a small fortune, a hydro trans and the rare hydraulic lift, the dash is complete, nice steering wheel and it has alot of good parts on it! Not too bad for $50... now I just have to literally drag it home! KJ

You should change your name to Alexander Mundy.

A deal like that, makes us think you stole it!

Be sure to update the thread while you're working on playing with the new Horse!

Hope the cigarette lighter works, it better for all you Alexander paid!

Normally I don't like talking to thieves, but I really like Wheel Horse, so I'll make an exception. :bigrofl:  That looks like a very solid Electro 12, and your right, its very rare to find an oe seat in that condition. Great Find!!

The Electric PTO Clutch is worth 2 times what you gave for the whole thing. Well Done. I saw at least 500.00 in parts in the photos !!

If I was closer and had the money to spend, I would up the offer to $100. Would go great with the Electro 12 my brother and I already have. It has a different seat than that one but its the original seat to it.

Can I have the upholstered top section of the seat? Mine is really bad.

If necessary, I can take the whole tractor for $110.00. You'll (Hi Neighbor!) have to deliver though (Pennsy isn't that far a drive).  :dancingbanana:

Great deal!  You even have a battery to trade in for a new one.  Every tractor I've bought, other than one, was missing that battery.  Darn core charge.

Not to mention the engine.  It will probably start right up with just a little tinkering.

Score for the tractor thieves!

Send Me the seat cushions and the Hydraulic lift. I'll send $75 plus shipping once you figure it. That way you have a FREE tractor and a little extra profit!   I'll be waiting for when it's all off, then!
