My wife was telling me they are calling for a bunch of rain tomorrow and supposedly lots of flooding. I am going to clean out our gutters tonight and cover our basement step doors to help keep some of the water out of the basement.

No rain here. This September is going down as the 3rd driest in recorded history. So far in Louisville, just .12" for the entire month. Last dryer month was in the mid 1040's. I had to work under my MF12 yesterday in the yard for a few minutes. Just laying under it putting a belt on tore the grass out & pure powder underneath. Most pasture is gone & we've been feeding hay to heifers & dry cows for a month. Had a good hay/corn year though, so we're in decent shape. Hard to think of flooding conditions like the east coast & Minnisota area.

Daniel I wish I could send you some of the rain we have had. The Chippewa river was way up over it's banks in Durand and just started to go down on Tuesday. No extreme damage around here but south of here from Minnesota into Wisconsin they got even more rain and several towns that don't normally have much problem with flooding are having a bunch of damage and wrecked homes.

At work we have a crew out at the car/truck show/flea mkt in Carlisle, Pa. They are NOT having a fun day today in the rain. Few customers and tough to keep the product dry in that kind of rain. Here in NH we have heavy rain today and more forecast for tomorrow.
