I just received in recently a box of OEM Tecumseh parts.  I'm sorting through them, but I'll work on getting them posted on my website over the next few days.

It's a long shot, but I was curious if anyone had ever heard of Sorensen Automotive Electrical Parts out of Glasgow, KY.  I've got a T-46 contacts and T-112 condensers, if that helps identify the parts.  I'd like to know what they fit!

It seems a Sorensen company made electronic ignitions along the way, but that's all I can find.  It doesn't seem like they exist any longer.

I'm figuring they were an auto parts store after market parts company.

I believe BWD bought them out.  Still some Gp Sorenson parts on the shelves around here.

The name sorta triggers a memory. I think they were the better grade of ignition parts 40 years ago. I think that they made "ventilated" points that we used in performance engines. Now I am curious.

Thanks for your replies!

I was curious because I've seen 90% of aftermarket parts names, but Sorensen was brand new to me.

I'll see if I can track down a BWD supplier and see if they have a cross for me.  I'd be curious to know what they fit, since they came with Tecumseh.

I used to buy the GP sorenson distributor caps and rotors, some GM HEI modules, decent parts. Can't help ya on the part numbers though.

Then they're car parts, probably, right?

Yes, back when I had my GM HEI ignition motors from 70's/80's. I think I bought some like AC relays and switches they made also, just as recent as early 2000's for my 95 & 97 S10 blazers I had.

That's just under 50 miles from me, and we shop in Glasgow some.  Never heard of Sorenson though.  I'll see if I can find out anything.
