I used to be a pretty big Sears collector, and they still are great machines, I just moved on to other brands for a little variety.  During my Sears collecting, I had never seen or heard of one of these sweet units.  It appears to be a Sears made "A-Frame" to hook up sleeve hitch attachments to.  Its a pretty good idea, seems how there is so much sleeve hitch stuff out there.  I found this one for sale on another forum, that is strictly a certain color, and Im thinking of buying it.  The seller says it has:

Sears Roebuck and Co with model #917 253182 & serial #1254b02636 on the tag

Here are some pics.  What do you guys think?

Looks like it would work. Even using the 3pt as the lift, nice idea. Original, have no idea, but if has info stamped guess so??

I had one at one time. It is a sear piece and fairly valuable. I sold mine on ebay for around $135. When I originally posted it, most of the people that saw it, said they had never seen one before. Hope it works out.

I have seen pics of these before. It does appear they made an adapter for older tractors to use newer sears (Brinly) implements.

What you have is a sears hitch     I have two of them on my tractors     They come with a mounting plate and arm lift      I am converting one over to electric      Out of the box new it was 250 with all the mounting hardware

Pretty sure I have uploaded the owners manual for the hitch in the sears section. If not let me know and I will up load it.
