Predicted to get up to 10" of snow today. It is snowing good now.

I am on vacation, so seat time is available if the snow continues to fall! I also have some snowmobile work to get done. Either way it will be a good week.

Maybe? This one seems to be tracking a little farther North than the last one. I only got around 2" Yesterday morning and about the same this morning. Now the Sun is shining and it's a beautiful day(  suppose to hit 32 degrees) so most of it will melt.

They were still saying NE Iowa would get 6-10"(by 6PM tonight) and I don't know if it will go up into Wisconsin or drop into the Chicago area.?  High temps are supose to be above Freezing through Sunday and Rain Friday,Saturday and Sunday here.

I hear tell that a storm is going to pound the Shenandoah Valley, VA, too this evening and tomorrow.  10-16 inches of wet snow.

Considering I am lacking a snowblower, its either spend the night scraping to keep it open, or beg a front end loader off someone!

It may take a while for this to all roll through. There is another wave on the radar(3 counties wide) just hitting Des Moines now.

Seven inches seems like just about the right amount.  There is enough to justify seat time, but not so much that it becomes a hassle.  Looks like this part of NC got cheated again, as earlier this week they were calling for some white stuff, but now that's all disappeared.

I just plowed a whopping inch or two off the driveway, seems like Aurora, IL got the better part of this storm.

Shooting for 7-10" here. Not much but I'll take it anyways! So far 1-2" and high winds. The lower end of the county is supposed to get much more.

Well we got about 4" total here. Then the winds  started. I had pushed back all the piles from last week to slow down the drifting.  I had very little drifting and it is supose to be above freezing through Sunday and 3 days of rain so I did not even bother to start the tractor last night. 3 days of rain will likely take the frost out ?

Snows almost already melted. I thought I was going to need at least the barn shovel. Oh well.

Just a few flurries here, a bit of drizzle. All the hype of getting a bigger snow and then nothing is almost a let down feeling. But at the same time we wont have to deal with it when we go back to work. We just got started on a new building so we would have to find and clear all our material.
