Im really looking to get out of using hydrostatics. They are great for mowing the grass, plowing and etc. but im really interested in finding a Cub Cadet with a geared transmission for pulling

You know I kind of feel the same way. There are a lot of hydrostatics that do good pulling but gear drives do seem to do better most of the time. I think most of it is in the setup. I keep telling myself and others that I would like to have one more 147 and have one as a trailer queen and the other for a puller and also two cub 100's. One for a trailer queen and one for a puller. I didn't realize you guys were out of Maryland, for some reason I thought you were out of PA. It was nice meeting you at the Fawn Grove show. Your Sears did a good job pulling. I think the Cub needed some more weight maybe.
