I got another Monty to go with the M/W collection. This one is a 1964 or 65 Squire 7 1/4 HP built by Toro, Springfield. It's in pretty nice original condition. Still has the Riverside Tires it came out of the factory on.

Congrats on the new addition! To bad it wasn't another  Bolens built Squire.    You sure don't see very many tractors with that tread design on the rear.  Thanks for the pics

Very cool old tractor.  Thanks for the pics.  I like how Briggs had their motors  figured down to the 1/4 hp.

Cool tractor. How many do you have? I have a Simplicity built Garden Squire with the 19D Briggs. It is a sad condition case.

Good find, Brian!  I like those tires.  Original tires look good when older tractors are restored.  When they are in good shape its even better!

Did you get any attachments?

Thanks Guys, The white stuff is snow. The tractor is residing in N.Y. right now. I did get the mower deck only. Member Greg,"Backwoods" was good enough to pick it up from the seller while he was there getting something for himself.

Cool tractor. How many do you have? I have a Simplicity built Garden Squire with the 19D Briggs. It is a sad condition case.

I now have several 2 wheel Wards, the 1963 Squire 6 built by Bolens, this 63 or 64 Squire 7 1/4 built by Toro, and 2 Gilson built Wards, 12 hp Hydro (1969 I think) and a 16 hp Hydro (1973 I think). I still need a Simplicity built 4 wheel GT to give me all the different brands that Wards used.

Not yet, but I grew up in IN., so I'm used to the snow, not a big deal.
