BFH = big ??????? hammer

 

As in, I just smashed my hand with the BFH.

 

I regularly find parts in the shops with the following label on them.

 

NFG = no ??????? good

C.I.D.,  "Cramp Inducing Discomfort"  A number rating given to an engine that won't start... even on ether.  The larger the C.I.D. number, the bigger the PIA rating.

Here is a list I started, if you have any others let me know and I will enter them.

 

 

4WD = Four wheel drive

AWS = All wheel steering

AG = Agricutlural

ACR = Automatic compression release

BBC = Blade brake control

BFH = Big F%$# hamer

BTDC = Before top dead center

CC = Cub cadet

DEFCON1 = Divorced is emminent

DEFCON2 = Tractor or Accessory purchase was major, but a suitable purchase is in the works for the wife.

DEFCON3 = Wife is suspicious and is nosing around in places looking formy "New" purchases.

DEFCON4 = Wife is asking "questions" not normal to everyday activities.

DEFCON5 = Normal situation, wife is completely unaware of any activities

DISC = Discontinued

FEL = Front End loader

Ft-lbs = Foot pounds of torque

FWD = Four wheel drive

FWIF = For what it's worth

FYI = For your information

GT = Garden tractor

HD = Heavy duty or Home depot

HDAP = Heavy duty, all purpose (tires)

HFWD = Hydraulic full-time 4-wheel drive

HSIS = Holy $#@* it started

IDGAF = Umm, you figure that one, please

IDK = I kon't know

IIRC = If I recall correctly

IH =  International Harvester

IMO = In my opinion

IN-lbs = Inch pounds of torque

IRWIPI = It ran when I parked it

HFT = Harbor freight tools

JD = John Deere

LT = Lawn tractor

LOL = Laugh out loud

MFWD = Mechanical four wheel drive

MMM = Mid mount mower

MMTB = More money than brains

MTF = My tractor forum

NAB  = Need another beer

NFG = No &^%$# good

NLA = No longer availble

NOS = New old stock

OE = Original equiptment

OSIBI = Oh $%#&, I broke it

PITA = Pain in the 'arse'

PHD = Post hole digger

PK = Power King

PO = Previous owner

PTO = Power take off

RER = Rear engine rider

RIO = Reverse implement option

SNAFU = Situation normal, all fu%$#@ up

SP = Self propelled

SWMBO =  She who must be obeyed

TDC = Top dead center

TPH = Three point hitch

TSC = Tractor supply co

WOT = Wide open throttle

WTB = Wanted to buy
