This is my oldest dog. His name is "Hammer". We celebrated his 18th birthday this past September, 16 of these years with me. He's deaf and arthritic but ran deer this last season. Still fast as the devil but only good for about half a day. We've killed a lot of nice deer in front of this dog.0303130906b.jpg

You must be feeding that dog some good food for him to still be chasing deer at his age.  :thumbs:

How do you get them started on deer? Just scent on canvas?

How do you get them started on deer? Just scent on canvas?

Put them on a "HOT" track with a running dog.
