Looks nice, but I think it will be hard to sell it for that price.

Pretty pricey but also extremely rare to find one with only 50 hrs on it. It would be nice just to see one that close to new.

This guy is dreaming.  Does it have an hour meter?  If it does, wouldn't you make that one of your pictures?  How does anyone know if it really has 50 hours?  I think that thing is overpriced by about $8000.  It's a good deal if it comes with a 200 hour x728 too!

He is going to have that tractor for a long time if he's asking that price!

How can you tell that it has 50 hours, they don't have a hour meter, it could just be in good shape with new paint?

I would maybe say $1500 but $9500 is just a laugh

I have looked these pictures over and over and over again, trying to figure out why he thinks it's worth so much. He states that the tractor is in real nice "original" shape, and has always been garaged. Now to me, original shape means that the finish has never been altered, and if it's been garaged, then there shouldn't be much rust. Right? If what he says or claims is true, then:

1) Why is the hood color a shade off from the rest of the tractor?

2) Where are the rub marks from your shoes taking off the paint on the foot rests of the fender pan?

3) Since there is no rust from being garaged, why was the mower deck repainted? 50 hours of run time, isn't enough to crap a deck!

4) Again, if the tractor is completely original, why don't the tire tread patterns match on both front and back? When you bought a tractor from John Deere back then, they always made sure the tread patterns or tire designations were the same on the front & back.

The only thing I see that has less than 50 hours of run time, is the snowthrower. It appears that it is the only thing that hasn't been touched up. $9,500.00? Good luck on that. For a 1973 140H3, I'd say the best that he'll get would be around $1,400.00.

So which one of us is going to contact him and give him the "I could of had a V-8" smack on the forehead, and bring him back to the real world?
