I am usually thankful for the plow drivers that have the roads passable when I am headed to work. But wow, this guy sure got his jollies from making life frustrating for the people along those streets.

They fired him.
As the newscaster says, "Shouldn't have posted it to youtube..."

Another example of " stupidity should be painful".

I'm sorry, but I didn't see any reason to fire the guy.  He should not have posted it on YouTube, but it did not look like he did anything wrong (beside some salty commentary).

I live in snow country and when the plow goes by, it dumps it all in the end of the freshly cleaned driveway.  Fortunately, most communities where I live ban parking overnight.  In the cities, they can't and that's what you get, a car buried.

I have to say, I almost spit coffee on the monitor when he said "Now you see it, now you don't"    I don't think I'm the only one either.

Never met that dude, but I bet there is at least one just like him in every Municipal, State and County Garage in snow country.

When I lived out on HWY 14, every winter The State plow guy would mow off my mailbox. So I eventually made it a breakaway mount so I could set it on top of the snowdrift. Eventually he realized we had gone to school together and it quit happening??

At first I was against this guy, now I am not sure. While he did bury the cars, I don't think they should have been there either. I must say I was impressed with how close he was able to get to the cars.

Isn't that what EVERY plow driver does?

Yeah but pushing that close to a car is a good way to cave in doors and fenders. Did you see where he had broke the fenders on that Vette. Big Bucks for the Body Shops and heartbreak for the owners.

They went a little to far in firing him. He was doing his job, but I guess people don't watch the weather anymore to know that a snow storm is coming.

My dad worked for the county hwy dept. for a good 17 years and heard all kinds of stories the same about the plow drivers job they did. The ones that I just don't understand is the people (city slickers) that move out in the country and expect the township roads to be plowed at 5 in the mourning so they can drive their Mercedes and BMWs to work.

Sure the ding bat shouldn't have posted the video, but when your plowing snow for a few days straight you have to have a little enjoyment out of your job.

And who in the world parks a vette like that on the street anyway? The only logical reason I can think of is he needed to get all of his GTs in the garage before the snow and the vette had to go. :D

Thanks MH81 for the fix, (although the unedited version gave more a sense of his state of mind in the moment) They do have snow emergency parking ban signs around, but usually on the busy main roads. In some of the more thickly settled neighborhoods, not everybody has a driveway or even a parking lot close by. On street parking may be your only option. In days after a storm sometimes there's violence between those who manage to dig their cars out and the next guy who comes along and parks in that spot! :(

Posting the video is what brought the heat to his boss and dispatcher, according to 'Dogg'.,he's now buried with calls and emails, including 11 offers to get his own 'reality show'...Go figure..

If he has offers for reality shows, do you think we could get offers if we took on the town trucks with our GTs?
